To create our second annual Beyond Big Data report, we surveyed 500 IT and data leaders to get their opinions about everything from data proliferation to budget priorities to AI readiness, and they did not disappoint. Their responses revealed some fascinating trends, including:
- Data quality is an immediate priority. Leaders are using data to guide their most important decisions, and an increasing number of them are prioritizing data quality initiatives.
- The cloud still prevails…mostly. Virtually of those surveyed are using cloud computing to some extent, but a surprising number of them are also making room for on premises deployments.
- AI readiness is top of mind. Our survey respondents are embracing AI, but they have a few concerns.
