A benchmark comparison of real-time analytics capabilities

Comparing Ocient to ClickHouse

Using equivalent hardware, we ran the standard TPC-H Star Schema Benchmark (SSB) flat version to compare the two platforms’ suitability for real-time analytics workloads. Ocient proved faster in single and concurrent queries, and the ability of the Ocient Hyperscale Data Warehouse™ to perform complex join queries outpaced ClickHouse’s by 100x . The report also examines the two platforms’ approach to storage and resilience, as well as their reliance on third-party software to support core capabilities, geospatial analytics, artificial intelligence, and more.
