CHICAGO — October 6, 2022 — Ocient, the leading hyperscale data analytics solutions company serving organizations that derive value from analyzing trillions of data records in interactive time, today announced the Ocient Hyperscale Data Warehouse is generally available in AWS Marketplace, a digital catalog with thousands of software listings from independent software vendors that make it easy to find, test, buy, and deploy software that runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Customers may engage directly with Ocient in AWS Marketplace, or with Ocient partners and resellers who can now offer Ocient deployed on AWS to their network of customers.
With Ocient, AWS customers can harness the performance at scale of Ocient’s Compute Adjacent Storage Architecture (CASA) optimized for nonvolatile memory express (NVMe) solid state drives (SSDs), high-core-count processors and 100GB networking. The speed and efficiency of deploying Ocient enables up to 10 times more data to be analyzed up to 100 times faster than solutions that separate compute from storage. With extract, transform and load (ETL) integrated into every solution, Ocient enables customers to stream or load data at up to terabits per second, reducing the need for third-party tools and helping ensure continuous data ingest is executed at no additional cost.
From piloting new solutions to full production deployments, Ocient helps relieve customers of the time-intensive task of configuring a new technical solution by including data engineering and solutions migration support and services — such as architecting data pipelines, complex queries, machine learning (ML) models, in-database transformations, and other enhancements — for a complete, end-to-end solution tailored to a customer’s business requirements and use case.
