Two things we love to celebrate in one night: Chicago and innovation.
We’re proud to say that Ocient won a 2022 Chicago Innovation Award on Wednesday night.
The Chicago Innovation Awards represent the most innovative products and services in the region with a mission to empower the Chicago Innovation Ecosystem by educating, connecting and celebrating innovators.
At Ocient, we like to say we’re “fueling innovation at hyperscale” which means we enable previously infeasible data analysis and accelerate digital transformation for companies struggling to harness data sets growing in volume and complexity. This past year we released the Ocient Hyperscale Data Warehouse to general availability which continues to gain adoption and outperform established solutions like Snowflake and Redshift AQUA. Everything we’ve built is to enable our customers to do things that weren’t before possible at a price that enables them to do even more with less.
Congratulations to @Ocient for winning a 2022 Chicago Innovation Award!!! #chicagoinnovationawards #onwardsandupwards

Our team was honored to be on hand to receive the award with over 400 attendees and presenters from across the business community. Ocient Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer Joe Jablonski accepted the award and thanked the community for all the support since starting the company.
The Ocient team has a well-established track record of innovation in Chicago after founding the big-data storage company Cleversafe that was sold to IBM for more than $1 billion in 2015. While we are remote-first (and hiring), you can learn more about our roots in Chicago from our CEO and Co-Founder, Chris Gladwin, in the video below.
