We know that providing flexibility and ease-of-use across our customers’ environments is a core requirement. With that in mind, we wanted to highlight a recent partnership with Google Cloud that is now live for our customers using the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Google has seen an increase of +65% in the number of deals over 1 billion dollars since 2001. These GCP customers are focused on driving growth, new products, new capabilities as well as optimizing their experience in the cloud, driving efficiencies, and cutting costs.
Ocient and Google Cloud have partnered to enable enterprises and public sector agencies to unlock more value from the complex, continuous analysis of hyperscale data sets delivered in seconds. With Ocient running in Google Cloud, customers can leverage their Google committed spend to procure and deploy fully-managed solutions tailored to their business requirements and use cases.
Built from the ground up to handle feeds of hundreds of terabytes and multiple concurrent users, the Ocient Hyperscale Data Warehouse delivers where other solutions fall short. Ingest data directly from Google Cloud Storage into Ocient through dataflow templates directly from your Google Cloud console. Shorten time to query and leverage Ocient’s continuous analysis on hyperscale data while improving performance by up to 50x. Using the Ocient Hyperscale Data Warehouse on GCP, you can easily deploy and manage your Ocient Data Warehouse. This includes being able to load, store and query the data through standard JDBC and ODBC interfaces.
Ocient manages the platform, monitors the performance, and provides uptime, price, and performance guarantees. Ocient provides an endpoint for data and another endpoint to query data with all hardware, instances, network, software, documentation, technical operations, and support services. This deployment option requires no upfront hardware investment, no incremental ETL and no “pay-by-compute” fees.
We’ll start featuring more partners on this blog but you can also always read about more and reach out here.
