Additionally, Ocient announced that it doubled its workforce in the past 12 months in order to take advantage of significant growth and customer demand.

Ocient’s new CTO, Ian Drury, brings more than two decades of experience in the database, data analytics and technology industries and in managing engineering teams at scale.  Drury also brings a breadth of expertise across both early-stage companies and large global brands like TransUnion with extensive, industry-leading analytical systems at their core. Most recently serving as a General Partner at OCA Ventures, an Ocient co-lead investor, Drury contributed to the growth of OCA Ventures’ early-stage technology portfolio and led diligence on emerging disruptive startups in the enterprise technology space.

In addition to appointing Ian Drury, Ocient added 63 employees last year, more than doubling its headcount.
