Where are you based and how do you take advantage of our remote first policy?
I am based out of Noida, India. Ocient’s remote first policy allows me to enjoy a better work-life balance and eco-friendly lifestyle. Ocient’s flexible working hour policy enables me to spend more time with my 7 years old daughter and keep up with her school and extra activities.
How long have you been with Ocient?
I’ve been with Ocient for one year and five months.
What are some things you like to do in your free time?
Watching movies and doing arts & craft activities with my daughter are some of the few things I like to do in my spare time. I believe in giving back to the community, so I love spending my free time in various social welfare programs.
What’s your go-to comfort food?
Being a north Indian, food is love for me. My go-to comfort food is anything from north Indian cuisine, especially Aloo Paratha with curd (Indian flatbreads stuffed with a delicious, spiced potato mixture).
Which Ocient core value do you resonate the most with in your daily working life?
One Ocient core value which I relate to most is Customer-Focused. My daily working life involves investing time in understanding customer’s needs, pain points, and preferences. Then, I further build and offer personalized customer solutions or recommendations after collaborating with various teams. At Ocient, we always try to ensure seamless and positive customer experience at every touchpoint.
What is one of your proudest career moments while working at Ocient?
One of the proudest moments was onboarding one of the very first customers I worked for at Ocient. It was a challenging use case having billions of daily requests, 80+ dimensions, and huge volumes of data, and we were able to deliver this in a tight time frame. Being part of this team makes me feel proud.
What do you find unique about your job?
We get to deal with customers from various verticals, and every customer has different challenges and requirements that provide me with an opportunity to enhance my skills and knowledge further.

What career advice would you give your younger self?
To have more of a streamlined and focused approach. Define your career goals in advance and keep moving forward.
